The length might be another factor, as each time you think it's going to end soon it just goes on and on. I mean, you almost would have to be willfully oblivious to all hints you encounter in the main game to not see it coming. Which I find weird, as it was very heavily foreshadowed IMO. Maybe the genre shift was too much for them. >I don't really get why people lose interest in the epilogue of the game Some of the best FM music ever made, and the soundtrack is really fucking long > Anonymous Sat Jun 3 21:08:36 2017 No.4037778 Was Kanna really MC's daughter? > Anonymous Sat Jun 3 20:32:07 2017 No.4037732ĭoes it not allow for screenshots to be taken? > Anonymous Sat Jun 3 20:33:30 2017 No.4037735 >we will never get an Eldia remake like Eve Burst Error R and Desire

Multiple cut scenes with CGs, some minor dialogue changes, pretty much there is nothing that this remake does good or better then over 20 year old ports, but I guess they have to rehash an old series and make anime out of it.Īs for LE, it's nice but I wouldn't overpay, if you live in japan and can get it with some store bonuses then you might grab that if it's still available. Worst aspect of remake is the user interface, literally designed for Vita touchscreen in mind and because of that it plays horrible and looks bad too. Generally everything is lower quality, Saturn version had animated backgrounds while remake doesn't have that, same goes for ambient sounds. I actually only liked the redesign of Kanna, rest was terrible.

I know there's no way they topped the voice acting of the original saturn, but where else did they dumb down? I thought of buying the LE to get some of those goodiesĪlso the art doesn't seem so bad in some CGs Not even talking about the art, the remake is just dumbed down in few aspects compared to PC98 and Saturn versions. Out of every version I have, remake is the worst one. (The one where she gets lost with Kun-Kun as a child.) With both of the lead guys on the project being dead, there's no chance of that now.Īlso: Thoughts on the remake? > Anonymous Sat Jun 3 10:35:39 2017 No.4036942 After finishing Go! Go! Sayless and getting the secret schoolgirl cosplay CG part, I'm also very sad that they never got the chance to give Yu-no the omake story they had planned for her. I felt it nailed the balance between science fiction focus and spiritual/conceptual focus that makes a perfect piece of speculative fiction. You just have to enjoy it at the pace it's presented at, instead of chomping at the bit for it to all be over. I don't really get why people lose interest in the epilogue of the game, personally I thought the entire thing was fascinating. Personally, I thought it was one of the best games I've ever played, and absolutely the best VN I've ever read. (Don't know why I worried about that, actually - /vr/ is nice and slow anyway.) I just finished it a few days ago myself, I was planning on waiting until tomorrow and making a thread about it since I won't be around much today. I kinda wish it was a bit longer or maybe also had its own routes (I heard it was supposed to have those too) > Anonymous Sat Jun 3 09:04:18 2017 No.4036849 They ran out of budget or something and had to do a lot of cuts, but I thought it was great. The epilogue was supposed to be a whole other game or so I heard. The epilogue also dragged on for too long. The main part is great but I didn't like the linear "exhaust every option to move on" parts in the prologue and epilogue. I hope you aren't a pleb that playing it in English. I unironically consider it one of the best adventure games, and I definitely won't forget it any time soon.
